Shakespeare 4 Kidz
- the National Shakespeare Company for Children and Young people - return to Oxford's New Theatre on Thursday 18th March with their acclaimed musical adaptation of Macbeth. The story of a noble Scottish warrior who becomes king after hearing the prophecies of three witches, murders his way to the crown, and fights to the death to try to keep it is one of the bard's most popular and gripping works.

Steve Paget, undoubtedly one of the great Macbeths, will be repeating his performance on screen as part of the next in the Shakespeare 4 Kidz LIVE! series, due to be filmed in April 2004.

The 2002/03 UK tour of Shakespeare 4 Kidz' A Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth played to a record-breaking 115,000 young people - most of them new to Shakespeare. The company is back on the road with the same two productions for 2003/04 playing to a record 150,000 people. With international tours to Italy and North America to follow in April, Shakespeare 4 Kidz have never been busier.

Shakespeare 4 Kidz aims to support the cross-curricular work of the classroom through offering a unique approach to the understanding of Shakespeare, making the bard's work accessible to children while staying true to his style and content.
