Oxford was Dazs-less for a year or more, and what a bleak year it was, but the Ice Cream parlour returned with a vengeance to George Street - offering more than ever before (so long as Ice Cream is involved somewhere). The new improved Haagen Dazs also comes with table service, which is slightly confusing for us old-timers who used to queue for their ice cream. Décor is horribly antiseptic, but it's the ice cream you're coming for isn't it? And that cannot be faulted.
