Market shopping with a gentle scent of pine needles and gluhwein floating overhead is a seasonal joy, and this year the Christmas Market is under new management and open for much more of December than in previous years.
The reins this year have passed to LSD Promotions, who run the weekly markets in Gloucester Green, so they’re no strangers to Oxford’s cultural life. This year we’re anticipating new booths, a classy and coordinated colourscheme, and a variety of traders and stalls.
This year the cycle route through Broad Street will remain open, as it’s a key route across the city, as well as being a perfect way to arrive at the market! Market hours are 10-6 every day, except Friday and Saturday when the market stays open till 8pm. It’s running until Saturday 23rd, so you’ve plenty of time to plan your trip. Eat your heart out Stuttgart!
