Teetering between funny and horrific, and of course all the more horrific for that, the piece presents a series of scenes between an office worker and her manager. Initial questions about who she gets coffee for and whether she considers her colleagues friends quickly escalate into assessments of her sex life and a contractual obligation to end her relationship.
With only two actors on stage the pace of the piece was spot on, just a beat between each scene allowed time to pass for the audience and the characters and like any good serial we eagerly awaited the next instalment.Oxford Fringe is a relatively new event but this show demonstrates why we should support emerging talent in our city - there's still a few more days to catch the creativity and excitement, and then there's next year to look forward to.
