The organiser says:
Come on Thursday 22nd September 2016 and listen to Tim FitzHigham, Sydney Padua, Andrew Hunter Murray and Andy Robb, some of the UK's wittiest wordsmiths, cross pens as they bluff and counter bluff in Ex Libris LIVE! the entertaining panel show adaptation of Ex Libris, the boardgame of first lines and last words.
While panelists set about writing fake but plausible opening or closing sentences to genuine books, the Ex Libris LIVE! host, broadcaster David Freeman, will interview, in turn, each contender discussing their recent work.
Andrew Hunter Murray is a writer, performer and podcaster extraordinaire. He is QI's literary Elf, writes for Private Eye, and co-hosts the award-winning podcast No Such Thing As A Fish.
Tim FitzHigham is an award-winning British comedian, author and artist. He holds all manner of world records including one for rowing a bathtub across the English Channel, an escapade he writes about in All at Sea: One Man. One Bathtub. One Very Bad Idea.
Sydney Padua is a graphic artist, animator and author of the amazing, award winning and mostly true graphic novel, The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage.
Andy Robb is an actor, a self-proclaimed uber geek and the author of the acclaimed children's books, Geekhood: Close Encounters of the Girl Kind, and Geekhood: Mission Improbable.
Be prepared for a good deal of bluffing, entertaining chit-chat and outright literary sneakiness!
