Shakespeare and the Brain
"All things are ready, if our mind be so" William Shakespeare, Henry V. The symposium will explore the theme of Shakespeare and the Brain from the perspective of neuroscientists, literature scholars, and thespians. We are also delighted to welcome actor and Oxford alumnus Roland Oliver who will perform some readings. Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the afternoon, and a drinks reception will be held at the end of the symposium. The symposium is free and open to all. We welcome undergraduates, postgraduates, parents, academics, scientist, artists and anyone with an interest in Shakespeare or the brain.
