A special Ramadan occasion open to all Muslims and non-Muslims. Communal meal (iftar), Qur'anic recitation and maghrib (sunset) prayers followed by a homemade buffet meal prepared by MECO staff and volunteers. Presentation by Dr Taj Hargey, the director of MECO on the Spiritual Significance of Fasting in Islam. We invite our non-Muslim friends to experience Ramadan first-hand by electing, if they wish, to fast on that Friday, but this is not a requirement of attendance. Since seating capacity is limited, kindly reserve your place as soon as possible by either email or phone.
