That sums up the play both in style and plot.
Programme notes state: "The idea of a living entity is essential to keeping the show up-to-date as real-life events occur". I agree - but the character Harry (Richard Glaves) is the Harry of at least two years ago, not now. Laughs, yes. Believable? No.
In terms of the whole plot - interesting, very interesting. Direction: excellent. 72-year-old Robert Powell is very good as Prince Charles.
Worth seeing? Yes, though I would have much preferred a Corbyn-style Prime Minister, a sharpening of the political dialogue (say, two lines about Brexit, and sovereignty perhaps?) and an even smoother Tory.
