Once a pram shop, then a bleakly recession-emptied unit, this airy white space on The Plain is temporarily home to a vibrant, quirky exhibition by 'a selection of artists from some of the UK's most prestigious art schools' (Edinburgh, Oxford's Ruskin, Goldsmiths, Glasgow, etc.). Put together by art consultants www.notfamousyet.co.uk, it features installations comprising swooping painted fabrics, ribbons, traditional canvases and cheery brightly-coloured sculptures resembling hybrids of children's toys and half-dissected organs. It's well worth a look and will only be in place until tomorrow (Saturday 17th Oct, 2009), so catch it on its last day if you can. If you miss out, register at the Not Famous Yet website to be kept up-to-date on where the next 'guerrilla style' temporary gallery will be springing up.
