I came up from Swindon to see this show and wasn't disappointed. This has to be one of the most powerful pieces of theatre I've ever seen.
Never before have I sat for 1 and a half hours on the edge of my seat, torn between laughter and tears. My emotions were pulled in every which way. It feels odd to find a subject matter so horrific but also to find myself laughing at the same time. This was brought about by spectacular acting from all four actors and marvellous directing. The fact that two of the actors said nothing at all throughout the play is a testament to their skills in being able to convey the fraught and tense atmosphere of a marriage breakdown through mime. The live music cleverly filled in where speech was omitted.
Why was this play only on for three nights? This should be permanent theatre in Oxford! Three evenings isn't long enough. Everyone should be able to get a chance to see this amazing piece of theatre! Bravo!
