Helen Mirren is fantastic as ever. I'll admit I only went because my ageing mum fancied it, but it's actually a well-paced film and isn't over-melodramatic. There is a tendancy to view the USA as the cuddly champion of human rights and Austria as a subtle continuation of the 3rd Reich, but it doesn't detract from a good drama.
