Dystopian future a la Malian Mad max? No this unfortunately is the reality now. The film takes a little too long to seep into your psyche but once it does, it's like watching African Nazis carrying out their perverse justice on a generally peace-loving amiable small town. Very sad refection on how so few can totally upset the equilibrium of life for as long as they want. Worthy, at times beautiful, but essentially very very sad, it offers no solutions because, well, there are none...
