Well, it scared the crap out of me, though that's not hard, and it was ingeniously constructed and beautifully written. A welcome return to form for the disappointing maestro who set the bar high with The Sixth Sense and then consistently failed to reach it with any of his subsequent movies. Stand-out performances from the two kids and superbly escalating weird creepiness from the grandparents. Very enjoyable.
