It should have been a musical!

Disney have attempted to recreate the success of the original trilogy. They've surely done this financially, but they have not succeeded at all in any other way. They have re-hashed everything they thought was good from the originals: same characters, storylines and plots. The reason all this fails is they haven't ticked the most important box: when anyone sees Star Wars for the first time, it's exciting because everything is new! Disney, having re-hashed everything, shows they've forgotten what it felt like seeing it new for the first time.
