Fantastic French film, winner of this years Palme d'Or.

Tamil tiger "family" escape as refugees from Sri Lanka and resettle in Parisian suburbs, where normal life and young drug barons controlling the area coincide.

The camera work is stunning and the film is put together wonderfully. There are little marker scenes throughout the film which makes you realise how difficult it is for a person from another culture to achieve acceptability in their new life.

In my opinion this is a brilliant film, but perhaps not for everyone.
