Destined to be a cult movie sometime in the future. It's just that the cult has still to invented! The trailers suggest a Coen Brothers caper which might just be very funny, with a subtle moral message of some sort for us to ponder about days later. Unfortunately the film has neither. It's ponderous, nay tedious, lacks suspense when it lapses into serious crime mode, and uses up all the usual comedy gags you'd expect to see in a bad B-movie, and, has some pretty duff acting to boot. Some famous actors who should know better appeared to think that they were doing the panto at Great Yarmouth pier! So in summary, it's unlikely to survive the week in cinemas let alone until Christmas, but nevertheless it easily wins my award for the Turkey of the Year.
