This is a very challenging film, but ultimately it's as pretentious as the dozens of unconnected topics it attempts to poke fun at. At times it can be very entertaining and when it keeps to what you feel is the plan, it's sharp, cutting and very witty on the human condition. The absurdity of the rich and old donating millions to conceptual art is the structure of the film. But after 152 mins, it runs completely out of steam and all you're left with is just how uncomfortable the film has made you feel. When 10 people actually walk out before the end I think I'd be justified in saying it's just too extreme, too absurd and overtly ridiculous to be of any real substance.
