The film is a very uncomfortable watch, full of massively unrealistic scenes. The film depicts a woman in her mid 40s unhappy with her life, family, artistic talent .. who finds hope and inspiration through a child in her kindergarten class who has a poetic prowess way ahead of his age. But the film lacks the subtlety it needs to explore the characters in any meaningful manner. Again we have to put up with the sad piano trailing along in the background. In the end i found i could have spent the 97mins more productively, perhaps writing a Haiku!
