Ça m'ennuie... This is an extremely dull costume drama. The characters, lack any charm or interest, there's next to no intrigue, except for that which is telegraphed to you ages in advance. To make up for the dreadful acting (the heroine in particular) the director continually switches the scenes from room to castle and occasionally to "paint by numbers battle scenes".
It livens up when the young duke of Anjou appears on the scene like a character out of Blackadder 2 (Rik Mayall-alike!) but he's completely deadpan so your hopes fade.... And its just too long... and then it ends with some nonsensical gibberish...
