Cracking cast, doing their best with the usual Hollywood gangster fodder. It's great to see Sean Penn hamming it up as a real evil boss. He scared me. It starts full-on with the good guys dishing out retribution as vigilante cops. At ths point the simple Hollywood morals appear to have been pushed aside. But no. The goodies need to get back to script and the syrupy nonsense you'd expect comes charging through in the finale. Makes Agincourt look like a walk in the park! Ddddddddd ddddddd (tommy guns!) take that baddies we're the invincible moral majority and it must be so as - thIs is yet another true story... yeah, right!
