Beautifully-written, extremely funny, cleverly put-together movie which has some interesting points to make about feminism, neighbourliness, and other critical foci of contemporary American life. Also not bad on the Point of it All. Starts deliciously cynical with a really punchy, quite cruel streak in the script; does not (you will be relieved to hear) get all mushy in the final few minutes. Some scenes had us gasping for breath. Jennifer Aniston has rarely been as good as this, and Jason Sudeikis also makes the most of the tart, spiky script. Not just a lazy laugh - well worth viewing.
