Nice to watch a film about a pleasant future world and not the usual dystopian pessimism. Her is a clever concept movie where it appears we can get, what we wish for in love and sex and all in our heads. Its a simple concept where social networking is taken to a full personal and interactive level, and it all looks frighteningly possible.
However, the sleek organised lives that Spike Jonze's imagery conjure up, gradually become quagmired in ridiculiously over-sentimentalised relationship mush that even teenagers may cringe at. That's not to say that the film doesn't occasional hit you with some sharp observations on modern life, but what could have been an excellent movie with some sensible editing to 90 minutes is a real drag at 126. Shame, it should have been great.
