This is what I call a real pub. Some of the best real ale in the county with friendly staff. The food is very good and excellent value. Anything billed as home made is exceptional. It is small and cozy so be prepared to get to know your fellow drinker / diner. This is part of the charm though. Probably one of the oldest pubs in the city. Easy to imagine Morse at the bar!
