Trinity

I regularly attend the comedy nights at Trinity and I can't complement them enough. I have consistently had great food and, each time, you get to see 3 really good, professional comedians. The event is organised well, with food being served downstairs in the dinning area, prior to moving upstairs for the comedy event, which has enough room for over 100 people. The staff are also very friendly and really go the extra mile to help you (assisting with finding seats, carrying drinks etc). I haven't been to the other events or eaten in the restaurant yet but, having been to four successful comedy nights, I'm looking forward to sampling what else they have to offer!

As locals it was pleasing to see the doors re-open on a decent establishment offering an alternative to the local Bicester pubs. We have been to the tearooms for several visits, an infinitely more pleasant environment that the local Costa. It's a shame that this is marred by the intensely slow service, waiting ten to fifteen minutes for coffee, longer for cake and finally the bill. We decided in the spirit of giving things a chance to try the restaurant on a Saturday night. With a friend joining us from London we all enjoyed the meal, as the food was of a high standard. If the team at Trinity can focus on creating an atmosphere which was sadly lacking we might be inspired to go again. I can only conclude however that the sombre mood of all the diners was due to the exorbitant mark-up on the wine menu. My companion (admittedly not in possession of his glasses) requested a Kiwi wine from the menu, on the arrival of the bill, £60-70 for the food (worth it), £40 for the wine. If you are going to hike your wine prices at least light the candles and play some dining music.
