Went to this place one sunny Sunday evening. I was impressed by the décor - the white tablecloths give it a clean, fresh feel. I ordered the quarter chicken with chips, with a tomato and onion salad as a side dish. The plate came with a mini gravy boat on the side which was a nice surprise. The gravy was lovely, a nice thin consistency and very tasty. The chicken was a bit dry but this didn’t detract too much from my enjoyment of the dish. It was just the right amount of food for me to be full, but not overly full.
My partner had a pizza which he devoured rather quickly. His orange Fanta was brought to him in its bottle which they left on the table, with a frosted glass for him to pour it into which I thought was a nice touch.
I wasn’t so keen on the unisex toilets which I always find rather disconcerting. However, overall I was pleasantly surprised by ‘Prezzo,’ which seems to be a step up from many of the other Italian restaurant chains. I certainly intend to visit again.
