This place is still the best curry house in Oxford by a country mile. The food is authentic south Indian and the quality is superb. I eat in this place with embarrassing frequency and I've never been served a bad dish. The decor is plain but none the worse for that after decades of eating in places with tawdry flock wall paper and cod sitar music twanging in the background (the cost of which ends up on the bill). I've always found the service at Dosa Park to be impeccable and fast. Try the dosa and uttapam - the flavours transport you straight to Tamil Nadu. The prices are extremely reasonable too with delicious chicken Thali coming in at around £8. My only reservation in recommending this place is that I don't want it to get too popular and find myself unable to get a seat.

Over-priced and unpleasant. For the price against the items served, the owners are having a laugh over the thali. The lamb tasted rubbery and salty.

Great authentic South Indian food. Very good quality and fantastic taste. Shame the lady who was serving had more interest in her mobile phone than the customers and made several mistakes with orders from several customers. Will without a doubt eat there again though.

Long been a favourite of mine since my vegetarian Indian chum told me about this place. Popped in yesterday and chose soemthing on the menu I've never had before - Set Dosa with chicken. Excellent! Set dosas are thicker than the usual masala dosa and come in - yes, you've guessed it! Sets! Just the job for someone rather hungry. You get 3 chutneys with the 2 dosas as well as the chicken pieces in lots of savoury gravy. A tasty and filling dish for about a fiver. Brill!!

There is no need to fear that the food at new 'smart' Dosa Park is a pale imitation of the scruffy 'old' plastic tabled Dosa Park. It is powerfully good (and quite hot) home-cooked Indian food. Please keep the brilliant food and don't make any concessions to Western taste.

Far and away the best Indian food you will get outside of going to India.

An absolutely brilliant place. Probably the most authentic Indian food provider that I've ever been to in Oxford in 20 yrs. The chicken thali is exactly as you'd expect from a roadside cafe in India. Good prices and superb quality.

Yes, I love Indian food and I am veggie and it's not only the most authentic but also best-priced place I know in Oxford for Indian food. It comes often as a thali set on a big round aluminium bowl with side dishes- just like you get in India. The veggie thali is only about £5.50.

for those who haven't been to India, get yourself down to Dosa Park and try some real authentic southern Indian food and then contemplate whether you want to go or not. You know it's good because every time you go in there, who's eating? Yes, Indian people.

I'm quite partial to the Thali, but in truth, the whole menu is really good! Oh yeah, and when you've finished eating Indian style, you have to walk through the kitchen to wash your hands at the back. It's great!

Just one last point....

How many Indian retaurants I've been to in Oxford and nearly all of them don't serve the dish Thali. Now ladies and gentlemen, lets put it into perspective, this is like going into a British restaurant and them not having Fish and Chips on the menu!

I went to Dosa Park with a friend experienced in Indian cuisine yesterday and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and the service. Fantastic masala dosas! I really hope this place continues to succeed as it is, as many other reviewers have pointed out, probably the best Indian food in Oxford.

Fresh chutneys, crisp (and quite thin) dosa, delicious sambar - really, this place serves excellent South Indian veggy food. And cheap! I feel it's the only one that serves South India food that presents and tastes like South Indian food. Spread the word, take your friends: it deserves to do well, and move to bigger premises.
