When I walked in, there was a very friendly atmosphere and everyone was so patient with me while I tried to narrow down my choices from such an expansive and delicious-looking menu. Luckily, you can order from your table through a QR code, which allowed me to move my crisis of indecision elsewhere. I ordered a scrambled egg and spinach bagel (£6.25), a slice of homemade vegan banana bread and a lemon and ginger tea (£2.40), which I hadn't meant to order but tasted delicious all the same. The scrambled eggs didn't taste of much, but it was more than made up for by the bagel, which was toasted perfectly and tasted incredible.
The vegan banana bread had a slightly odd texture but tasted surprisingly good for a vegan cake - it was very moist as well, which is rare for vegan baking. The café was fairly busy when I visited and was full of groups chatting below colourful
Overall, this is a lovely café and the perfect place to meet with a friend in the city centre.
