Historically The Galaxie comprised 2 Victorian houses which have been joined and extended. We have 32 rooms of individual character and we are in the process of completing refurbishment of the last few rooms to a modern contemporary standard. All our rooms have private/en-suite shower room/bathrooms, include central heating, direct dial telephone, 40-channel 'Freeview' TV and wireless Internet. We can also offer a fax and message service - helping our guests make the most of their stay.

I stayed at the Galaxie recently and was really impressed by all the renovation works which had been carried out since my last visit. The breakfast room was just beautifully decorated and very impressive with all its mod cons. The bedroom I stayed in was very comfortable and had recently been renovated with an ensuite shower room. For breakfast, there was a wide variety of choices and all the staff were as friendly as they were on my previous visit. I love staying in the heart of Summertown as there are so many different restaurants to choose from and a wonderful wine cafe nearby. Thank you, I will return again soon.
