This pub makes a change from the others in the Cowley Rd in that they have music every Saturday night. Great venue for live music, saw The Mighty Redox there and the place was rocking. They also have their Radio Black Swan nights with a guy that plays some great romantic tunes and classic numbers from the 80s and 90s - he knows the tunes to make your foot tap. Well worth a visit. The Guinness is the best in Oxford as well.

The Black Swan is a bit rough and ready but staff and regulars are friendly and the prices are the best in the area. It's also the only place in the area to go for televised GAA. What you see is what you get and it's a great escape from all the student orientated bars around Cowley Rd.
