I thought we were all supposed to turn our phones off in the cinema? Oh, no, sorry, that was just Ivan Locke's car phone going "burr, burr, burrrrr" every 30 seconds for yet another conversation with the outside world, which he's attempting to control with his soothing Welsh 'burrr'. This film might have just about worked as a 45 minute play on Sky Arts, but overall it really stretches your patience. One thing we did learn, though, was how easy it is to mix concrete for a buiding block. Yes, I know - yawn. This is no thriller!
