Richard (West of England) and Ivona (East of Slovakia) combined thirty years of catering experience to open Moya, a unique blend of a classic and creative cocktail bar with a kitchen serving authentic, rustic Slovak dishes "just like mother cooks in Slovakia", in 2002. The years since have seen a lot of changes including Slovakia's entrance into the European Union. Ivona has personally expanded and developed our menu to reflect the modernisation, and Western influences, displayed in the best restaurants in Slovakia. Moya has always demonstrated that Central European cuisine belies the myth of boiled cabbage and stodge that was its reputation and our menu illustrates how the cuisine has advanced whilst retaining its essential hearty character and homemade freshness.

The Nut Tree is a traditional village pub which serves great modern British food in the restaurant but is still somewhere you can stop and have a pint or relaxing drink at the end of a hard day’s work. Within the 15th century thatched building you’ll find a mix of locals and visitors enjoying real ales, fine wines, excellent food and attentive service. A literal stone's throw from Carfax, the crossroads that marks the centre of the city of Oxford, Old Tom has provided a welcome watering hole for Oxford's town and gown since at least the end of the 17th century. In its three or so centuries of history, Old Tom has enjoyed many faces. Today it is a unique experience that perfectly combines old world English pub sensibilities with the very best in Thai cuisine. Old Tom is sister restaurant to the highly successful Monkey and Me in London's Marylebone. Both restaurants serve delicious Thai food that stays true to its Eastern origin.
